Leather as anatomical and physiological part of the whole organism, an organ that performs several important physiological functions (Fig. 157). It protects the body from various harmful effects of the environment, is involved in thermoregulation and in the regulation of general metabolism in the body. It is also important secretory function of the skin (sebaceous and sweat glands). Leather, in addition, is a broad receptor field, perceiving from outside and transmitting the CNS a number of sensations.

Etiological agents of skin diseases may be the functional and organic disorders of the nervous system (central and peripheral), the endocrine glands, and circulation. Skin diseases are always more or less connected with the defeat of the organism as a whole or its individual organs and tissues.

In the complex treatment of some skin diseases using various types of massages (classical, segmental, cryomassage, vibrating massage brush in the bath, etc.), exercise therapy, moderate exercise (jogging, walking, skiing, boating, biking, swimming in the sea water, etc.). Also include diet therapy, fortification, sedatives, various ointments, liniments, etc. Showing spa treatment: swimming in the sea water path, games, welcome cocktail of oxygen and various spa baths.

Exercise therapy has a positive overall impact on the human body, helps to normalize metabolic processes, hormonal and emotional status. Exercise therapy and moderate exercise are shown in all patients with chronic disease is the acute stage.

Contraindications to the use of massage in dermatology: pustular skin disease, fungal skin diseases, tuberculosis, skin dermatitis from exposure to high and low temperatures, ultraviolet light, ionizing radiation, chemical factors, etc.; viral dermatitis, skin tumors.
